This Privacy Policy explains how the Swiss Tax Calculator browser extension (“we”, “our”) handles the information it collects while in use. By installing or using the extension, you agree to the terms described below.

What We Track

We use Google Analytics exclusively to gather these three pieces of information from pages you visit:

• Host website: the domain name of the property site (e.g. www.newhome.ch).
• Postal code: the 4‑digit Swiss postal code parsed from the page.
• City: the city name parsed alongside the postal code.

What We Don’t Track or Share

We do not collect, transmit, or store any other personal, financial, or tax data. Specifically, we never send:

• Any personal identity or profile data
• Detailed tax or income figures
• Any data to servers other than Google Analytics

Open Source & Local Calculations

All tax calculations run locally in your browser. The extension is a proof of concept (PoC), open source and available for review at:
